Bucars Unleashes New Website
May 13 2009
The dealership that promises to unleash one's Inner RV'er has done it again with a brand spanking new website, which can be found at the usual URL http://www.bucarsrv.com. Visitors to the site will instantly recognize the 50 year old RV dealer's distinct white and red colours along with a near full-frame rotating carousel highlighting promotions, specials, news and featured RV's.
"The new website will make it easier to navigate the many makes and models of RV's that are available here at Bucars," says Bucars General Manager, Jeff Redmond. "The site also allows us to post new RV walkthrough videos as well as allow our customers to stay up to date with an easy e-newsletter sign up form, news and events section, and to book service appointments online."
The revamped website comes during the venerable RV dealer's 50th anniversary, an anniversary only this Calgary RV dealer can claim as their own. Bucars was the first ever RV dealership in Calgary and has since moved to their new home since 2006 in Balzac, kiddy-corner the new CrossIron Mills Mega-mall.
Some other new features one will find on the new site is easy navigation to any make and model, online registration to Bucars U (Bucars' free RV training seminars), access to current specials and promotions, an online Service Appointment Request form, online unit walkthrough videos and expert tech tips provided by their very own RV technicians.
"We wanted to make sure everything and anything was available for the RV shopper out there," continues Redmond. "At Bucars, we're RV'ers too, so we looked at redesigning the site with the RV shopper in mind."
Another neat feature of the new site is what looks like an online referral program that offers visitors the opportunity to earn free fuel when their referral makes a purchase at Bucars. No more details are available at this time, but Bucars staff say the referral program will be available on May 21st.
What else can one say about the new website? Well, truth be told, it's a welcomed relief to the gamut of unfriendly websites out there today. "If visitors are happy with the site and with the ability to find what they're looking for," says Redmond "then we're a happy bunch."
