The Early Years
In 1989, Bill Redmond and his family purchased Bucars RV from the man who started it all - Stan Bucar. Of course, the dealership had a long and successful history before the Redmonds came into the picture.
Even from the beginning of his career Stan Bucar had a special appreciation for trailers. As a young man working at Universal Ford, Stan bought the dealership's very first trailer and loved it. Soon after, the enterprising Calgarian purchased North Hill Car Sales selling not only automobiles but Shasta Travel Trailers as well.
In 1959, Stan changed the named to Bucars Motors and put his focus on recreational vehicles. Calgary's first RV dealer was born. Through the years, Stan and his staff grew the RV business offering a full fleet of campers, motorhomes and trailers.
Bucars Today
Today, Bucars is a Redmond family affair. Bill and his two sons, Jeff and Kyle, take great pride in continuing the 47-year tradition of providing southern Albertans with the highest quality standards and products. If Bill's past experience is any indication of future success, the company is in good hands.
